FAQ

Common questions.

Who owns the app and the IP?

You do. The client owns the application and all IP we deliver. We retain the right to reuse generic patterns and components across other engagements.

How do payments work?

Project work is typically split 40% up front, 40% at major milestone, and 20% on launch. Smaller engagements run 50/50. Care & Optimization is monthly, billed in advance.

What about software and AI costs?

Third-party platforms (Notion, ClickUp, Make, OpenAI/Claude API, etc.) are billed directly to your accounts when possible. We manage setup, tuning, oversight, and pass-through billing where required.

How long does a typical build take?

Blueprint runs 2–3 weeks. A typical MVP build runs 6–10 weeks depending on integrations and complexity. We share a phased timeline in every proposal.

Do you offer ongoing support after launch?

Yes. Every build includes 30 days of post-launch hypercare. After that, you can opt into App Care & Optimization for monthly maintenance, small features, and quarterly strategy.

What if scope changes mid-project?

Every contract includes a written change-request process. Small scope shifts are absorbed; larger changes get a short addendum with the new scope and cost before we proceed.
